What's up at Terraza del Mar Puerto Cruz?

The Terraza del Mar permanent promotion and Take-away News 2018

Unfortunately, the fantastic special offer for a daily menu from 6 p.m. until 9p.m. has come to an end. It had lasted for several years.  It included chicken, salad and French Fries for only Euro 2,95

However, the restaurant's breathtaking views to Punta Brava, to the Charcon and the Atlantic have not gone.

Fried Dorada with Papas Arrugadas

One of the specials was Entrecote.  However, we opted for fresh, fried Dorada fish with Papas Arrugadas (wrincled potatoes) and Mojo sauce of typical Tenerife cuisine. All tasted good, including the dry, white wine of the house. It came from La Orotava but wasn't a Tajinaste. Our bill for two amounted to less than € 20. This was excellent value for money on this first of January 2017. 

This menu at a reduced price isn't on offer any more either. We shall keep you posted about any eventual replacement. So far, there's nothing in the pipeline for Christmas 2018 until Reyes in 2019, as we were told by the restaurant's management.

Obviously, we were not alone with our good experience of eating out in Tenerife at this beach restaurant. Quite a few people were waiting at the end of its terrace. They wanted a free table.

The special price for this holiday lunch was €7,20 per person at the time. A drink was extra, if I remember well. My friend had a food allergy with chestnuts and selected the chicken dish instead.

Servive at the Puerto Cruz beach restaurant?

This restaurant is optimum when you have company. Why? There are the odd days when its service is a bit slow,  but it's always friendly.

A dog is fascinated by lizards he's spotted.

By the way, the park like setup may even fascinate your dog.

Why?

Wild lizards are roaming around, as this Puerto de la Cruz restaurant is part of their habitat.

Conclusion

It's absolutely priceless to relax in full sun or under the stars on this Tenerife North terrace restaurant.
