Summer Carnival Puerto Cruz Tenerife Spain of 2022

This Summer Carnival of Puerto Cruz will end on the 11th of September with the main parade called Apoteosis.

When? At about 5 p.m.

Where? From Plaza del Charco via C/Santo Domingo, C/Zamora, Avda Familia Bethencourt, C/Bishop Perez and ending in Avda Colon.

I have started naming this event called Apoteosis, as it is the most popular of all that tourists always enquire about in the first place. They love it absolutely most, as it combines everything Tenerife Carnavals are all about.

What is special with the Summer Carnival Puerto Cruz?

It is dedicated to a Carnival King that brings a whole new dimension to this mad Tenerife season. He will be elected from 14 candidates. This is contrary to the Winter Carnival with its Queen and maidens of honor.

Of course, children and their families are never forgotten at any  season of crazy clowns and enchanting Disney characters in the oldest Tenerife resort. Indeed, they feature most prominently in the Carnival poster of the summer 2022 as depicted below

Another big part of mad pictures and sounds are the satirical Murga as well as the musical groups. Not to forget are the skilled street dancers who contribute the Rio de Janeiro Flair. Also, this September Carnival of 2022 has a Carnival Ambassador. His role will be to promote all events of this disguise festival.

What is never missing either at this crazy summer festival?

The fabulous choreography and harmony of this Canary Island town's crazy events are filling its carnival streets and complexes like the Piramides Mall or the Lago Martianez
